Everything You Need to Know About the Return of the Dining Plan!

Enjoy delicious prepaid meals and more when you purchase a dining plan as part of a Disney Resort Hotel Package!

We are pleased to announce that 2024 packages are available for booking and the infamous DINING PLANS are back and can be added to packages that begin after January 9, 2023. 

Why add the dining plan? Convenience & Flexibility

Dining plans can add the convenience and flexibility of prepaid meals and snacks to your vacation and give you peace of mind.

There are more than 200 locations to dine at throughout Disney Resort hotels, theme parks and select locations at Disney Springs. So there’s no shortage of places you can use your credits. 

What types of plans are offered?

Choose from either the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan as part of a Walt Disney Travel Company Package. Both plans provide everyone in the party (ages 3 and over) a specific number of meals and snacks based on the number of nights of your Disney Resort stay. What is included with each plan?

Everyone in your party (ages 3 and over) will receive the following: 

The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan includes (ages 3 and over):

• 2 Quick Service Meals (per night of stay)
• 1 Snack/Non-Alcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
• 1 Resort Refillable Mug 

This is the perfect option that allows you to easily plan meals around your family's schedule.

• Beverages are included with each meal. Guests under 21 years of age may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Guests 21 and older may substitute for beer, wine and cocktails where available.
• Guests ages 3 to 9 must order from a children’s menu, where available.
• Plan must be purchased for entire length of stay and for the entire party (ages 3 and up).

The Disney Dining Plan includes (ages 3 and over):

• 1 Quick Service Meal (per night of stay)
• 1 Table Service Meal (per night of stay)
• 1 Snack/Non-Alcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
• 1 Resort Refillable Mug

The Disney Dining Plan is the perfect choice to experience classic dining options at both Quick-Service and Table-Service restaurants, including Character Dining locations.This option allows you to easily plan meals around your family's schedule: Quick-Service when you’re on the go and Table-Service when you’re ready to savor the moment.

• Beverages are included with each meal. Guests under 21 years of age may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages.
• Reservations at Table-Service restaurants are subject to availability and are highly recommended.
• Two table-service meals will be redeemed from the dining plan for each person dining at a Fine/Signature Dining experience, select Character Dining experience or a Dinner Show.
• Guests ages 3 to 9 must order from a children’s menu, where available.
• Plan must be purchased for entire length of stay and for the entire party (ages 3 and up).

Do I have to use all of my credits at once? Will the dining plan restrict me?

No, the best part of the dining plan is that you can use your credits how you see fit. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on day of checkout. For example, if you book a 4-night package with a dining plan that includes one snack per day, each Guest (ages 3 and up) in your party would receive 4 snacks—which can be used at any time during your 4-night stay.

Can I still Mobile Order? 

Yes! When checking out on Mobile Orders on the My Disney Experience app, you can simply select your dining credits instead of using a credit card. Saving time and money! That’s magic! 

Are all restaurants one credit?

There are only a few restaurants that are 2 Table Service credits. 

• Cinderella’s Royal Table
• Akershus - Lunch and Dinner
• Storybook Dining with Snow White
• Be Our Guest
• Signature Restaurants such as California Grill, Citricos and Tiffins Restaurant
• Dinner Shows, like Hoop Dee Doo Revue 

There is even an option for Pizza Pick-up at select value and moderate resorts! For 2 Quick Service credits, you’ll get:

• 1 Large Pizza
• 2 Single-serving Nonalcoholic Beverages (or Alcoholic Beverages, for Guests 21 and older)
